On 8 April 2026, Ciheb-Kenya teams from Nairobi, Machakos, Migori, Kisumu, and the Coast came together for a joint reflection and alignment session focused on our recalibrated strategic plan and the path ahead.

At a time when program priorities are evolving and resources are increasingly constrained, creating space for open dialogue and shared reflection is more important than ever. The session provided an opportunity for teams to reconnect with Ciheb-Kenya’s core purpose, take stock of progress, and better understand how each region and function contributes to the broader organizational goals.


A clear message emerged from the discussions: our impact is strongest when we work as one coordinated team. Strengthening communication, improving coordination, and fostering shared ownership continue to be critical in ensuring effective delivery across all program areas.

The sessions also provided valuable space for peer learning across regions and departments -highlighting what is working well, identifying operational gaps, and agreeing on practical ways to enhance collaboration moving forward.

The discussions were anchored on Ciheb-Kenya’s recalibrated strategic plan, which is built around five key priorities: driving HIV and TB prevention and treatment; strengthening strategic partnerships and collaboration; building a high-performing delivery organization; developing an e ntrepreneurial culture to support income generation; and expanding research and innovation.

More importantly, they reinforce a shared commitment to working together more intentionally, with a stronger focus on efficiency, impact, and sustainability.
