Project Study: Optimizing Smoking Cessation & Unhealthy Alcohol Use Treatment Study

Program description
Center for International health, Education and Biosecurity-Kenya, with funding from the National Institute of Health (NIH), are conducting a five-year Co-occurring Alcohol and smoking cessation clinical trial Among People Living with HIV in Nairobi, Kenya. The study is examining how combinations of pharmacological and behavioral interventions may improve the chances of maintaining long-term alcohol and smoking abstinence and will provide needed efficacy data regarding best treatment approaches for sustained abstinence. Applications are invited from appropriately qualified candidates for the position of Data Assistant.
Position Summary: Data Assistant
The Data Assistant will be responsible for the accurate, ethical collection, storage, analysis, and sharing of program and protection data, in strict compliance with the data protection policy. Key duties include timely data collection, entry, documentation, and support for data management and reporting processes. These activities will contribute to improved program interventions. The Data Assistant will work closely with program staff and collaborate with teams across CIHEB projects.
