In line with our core values, CIHEB-Kenya proudly joined other stakeholders in the Integrity Walkathon organized by Transparency International Kenya on Saturday, 27th September 2025 in Nairobi reaffirming our commitment to promoting transparency and accountability within Kenya’s health systems. The 8-kilometer walk, held in Nairobi, brought together representatives from government, civil society, and the private sector under the theme “Promoting Integrity in Health Systems.”
The annual event brought together representatives from government agencies, civil society organizations, and the private sector to raise awareness about the importance of integrity in public and private life. The walkathon served as a powerful reminder of the role that collective action plays in promoting ethical conduct, good governance, and anti-corruption efforts in Kenya.
CIHEB-Kenya staff participated actively, walking alongside other organizations to demonstrate the link between health, governance, and integrity. The team also used the platform to highlight CIHEB-Kenya’s work in strengthening accountability systems and empowering communities to take part in transparent, people-centered health programs.
Collaboration is one of our core values. Taking part in this walk was an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to honesty, accountability, and ethical practice in all that we do,” said Patrick Awuor, a staff from CONNECT program who participated in the walk.
